Xingxing is a current Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Xingxing obtained her Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry in 2014 and her Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2014 and 2017, respectively. She moved to Hong Kong in 2017 to start full-time research work at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She obtained a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering(Biomaterials) from The University of Hong Kong, and Postdoctoral experience at the Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre in Hong Kong. Her research interests include Biomimetic scaffolds, Nanomaterials, gene transfection, and tumoroids.
