Undergraduate
The HKU Faculty of Engineering has introduced the common admissions scheme, through which applicants can use one single code 6963 to apply for all its B.Eng. programmes. During the first year, students will study some common Engineering core courses. Students will then select their respective degree programme after the first year of study. Full accreditation for the BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering degree programme has been awarded by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE).

Graduates of our programme are eligible to join the HKIE Scheme “A” training in the Disciplines of Mechanical, Aircraft and Gas readily whilst some optional/top-up courses are needed for the Disciplines of Building Services, Environmental and Energy.
