Dr. Xinna Wang obtained her Bachelor of Medicine (B.Med.) degree in Medical Imaging and Master of Medical Science (M.Med.Sc.) degree in Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine in 2007 and 2010, respectively, in China. After two-year medical residency, she moved to Hong Kong in 2012 to start a three-year full-time research work at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She obtained her Ph.D. degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2020 and started Postdoc training in the Tissue Engineering Laboratory in the same institution. Dr. Wang is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and her research interests mainly focus on (1) multiphoton microfabrication and micropatterning technology; (2) ultrasound-based tissue engineering and regeneration and (3) sonodynamic and photodynamic therapy.
