| Title: | Research Assistant and two internships | |
| Description: | A position of research assistant and two internships are available at
Professor K. W. Chow's group. The job duties are (a) to perform computational fluid dynamics of blood vessel diseases, and to a smaller extent, (b) to work with the experimental aspects of this project (rapid prototyping and ultrasound measurements). Qualifications required are bachelor degree in a relevant discipline and some previous experience in computational fluid dynamics. The main goal of the project is to study the risk factors and hemodynamics of arterial aneurysms and dissections.
The positions will be available May 1, 2012 and will last for one year. The two internship positions require a degree from a university in Hong Kong, in accordance with the requirement of the funding agency.

| Description: | Positions of research associate are available at Professor Dennis Y.C. Leung's research group. The job duties are (a) to perform computational fluid dynamics of nuclear radiation from nuclear power station; or (b) to conduct study on removing the NOx from exhaust gas; or (c) to carry out study on micro-fluidic fuel cells.
A PhD degree in a related discipline is required. Candidates without a PhD degree but with significant experiences in relevant areas may also be considered. The positions will be available from June 1, 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter. |
