Dear ME & BSE Students,

The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in collaboration with the Mechanical Engineering Society, HKU, will hold a promotion talk at the University of
Hong Kong for mechanical engineering students. The talk will focus on Scheme A Training and the route in becoming a professional engineer. Guest speakers
Ir. Alex To (Chairman, Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture & Chemical Division) and Ir. Alex Leung (Student & Young Engineers Affair Working Group, Leader) are invited to share their experience in the Mechanical Engineering profession.

The programme highlights are as followed:-
-Introduction of the Mechanical Engineering Profession (Ir. Alex To)
-Introduction of the Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture and Chemical (MMNC) Division and the Student & Young Engineer's Affair (SYEA) Working Group (Ir. Alex Leung)
-Incoming MMNC and SYEA technical visits and activities (Mr. Wilson Mak)
-Sharing experience from the Government Sector (Electrical & Mechanical Services Department) and the Consulting Industry (Parsons Brinckerhoff Asia ltd.) (Mr. Thomas Cheung & Ms. Mai Yin Lam)
-Small group discussion
